About
A.L.R Manpower and General Services Inc. draws inspiration from the example provided by its founder Arnold, who worked as a waiter at Max’s Restaurant, and rose through the ranks from mess boy to ship captain at an early age in his 17-year career as a seaman. This deeply ingrained in him the values of discipline, persistence and hard work, values that he passed on to the people he worked with, as well as those he would come to serve later in life before he passed away.
Carrying on his legacy and vision for the company is his widow Editha Biag Roberto, now President of ALR. Like her late husband, she has extensive experience in working with people gained from her stint as payroll administrator of the Kuok Group of Companies for two years. She also served as the administrative supervisor of ABS-CBN Publishing, Inc. for ten years, a position that required her to manage agency-based personnel like security guards, receptionists, messengers and janitors.
